HAHAHAAHAHA

Today's Pooch Cafe'

OMFG this is one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. Well, maybe not a long time, since I just watched The Superbowl Shuffel a few days ago...but anyway...

Saturday Night Live is on tonight, and Ashlee Simpson is the the musical guest. She's about as stupid as her sister. During the beginning of her second song, she starts doing this weird dance, and then the song starts playing. And she doesn't have the microphone up to her mouth! But supposedly she's singing! So she starts doing this really goofy dance, then the singing voice gets quieter, quieter, and they can't fix it, so she walks off stage.

The new Milli Vanilli!!! Freakin' hilarious!

She said at the end, "I'm so sorry! My band started playing the wrong song, so I thought I would do a ho-down," 'cause she was doing this really retarded dance. Ummm...pretty sure that the tape was playing, her voice was singing, but she wasn't moving her lips. Nice try.

Savings Up To 50% Off - Storewide!

Oi vey!

Today marked a weekend sale of 50% off selected items store wide. There were signs posted all over town that said exactly what my subject says; "Savings Up To 50% - Storewide!"

Well, this doesn't necessarily mean that everything in the store is 50%. And it doesn't mean that everything on clearance is 50%, either. It's UP TO 50% off. So you can imagine there were quite a few upset customers. "Is this 50% off??" *Holds up a $300 camera* "No ma'am, I'm sorry. When the signs say 'storewide' it means that every department in the store is having clearance items on sale, but not that everything in the store is on sale."

I really fucking hate it when the guys up at the very top do this shit. I know that it brings the sales in, it brings customers in that wouldn't normally come to Kmart because they think everything in the store is half off. Well, I'm pretty sure that keeps some customers from coming back, after they've had to figure out that the sales signs are misleading. We associates get yelled at a lot by customers, even though it's not our fault, and we didn't make this stuff up, it's just something we're made to do. And I don't know why they're so worried about sales. Crap, it was busy today. And the day after Thanksgiving up until Christmas are going to be just like that. Only without the deception. Hopefully I'll know a lot more about where things are and what to do by that point because it's all still a little confusing right now.

Anywho, I'm poop, I think I might go take a nap and wait for Wes to gimme a call, since his team won and all, and he said it was a morning game.

Another day

Today's Pooch Cafe'
Music: Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno theme music

Work tonight was not too bad. At the end of the night, Trevour and I got to hang signs up on the ceiling :D It was fun.

Tonight on Jay Leno, William Shatner is singing. The only reason I'm watching this is because Ben Folds is playing music for him, and I love Ben.

Gotta open tomorrow at 8am, so I'm going to bed. Hopefully I'll be able to catch William Shatner lol. G'night

Happy birthday Lacey!

Today is Lacey's 22nd birthday, so this goes out to her :). Gave her a birthday call just now to see how she was doing because we never talk anymore, and because she forgot my birthday. Well, didn't forget it, but didn't CALL me on it. Oh well.

The new alarm clock is rather loud. And I accidentally hit the "Nap" button, so I had like, 10 minutes before it went off and I couldn't figure out how to turn it off, so I had to get up and find the instruction book. Whoops.

Mom leaves for Mississippi today for her sister's wedding. Lucky duck. I keep telling her to take me 'cause I wanna go see my boyfriend. He's a lot closer to Mississippi than to South Dakota...

Rainy and foggy today. Made for a gloomy walk to school and back.

If you take a Himalayan rabbit or a Siamese cat and shave a design on their white back, their fur will grow back black. You can do designs! It's 'cause their skin color is determined by their temperature on their body. So the cooler the spot, like their nose, toes, ears, tail...the darker the fur. Also, Siamese cats with whiter fur are more likely to have crossed eyes. Pretty cool, eh? I love genetics.

I remember when my sister got her cat, Salt, who was part Siamese, and a little cross eyed, that she didn't want it beause of the cross eyed-ness. She thought the cat was retarded lol. OMG. It was too funny. I later learned that she maybe was a little retarde because she walked into walls...

Superbowl Shuffle

Okay, I know this is the third time I've posted today, and I apologize...but I just witnessed something really funny. Funny Ha-ha and funny Weird.

Channel surfing, and I run across ESPN2...and there are a bunch of football players singing, "dancing," and rapping to The Superbowl Shuffle. OMG. So fucking hilarious. White men cannot dance, and they should not be allowed to rap. It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen, and it made me laugh out loud. And I'm the only one here!

I don't know how to describe it...it's just that weird. It's like that car wreck that you just have to look at as you drive by. You can't stop looking. It's sickening. In a humorous way.

New toys

Ooooh, I bought a shiny new alarm clock today! I know that doesn't sound very exciting, so here's some back-story:

The night before I moved out of the dorms, Jill and I were lowering my bed down to a level that was deemed "appropriate" for leaving it alone in a room for a summer. Because I didn't want to set my alarm clock on the floor and risk stepping on it, I did the other logical thing; set it on the bed springs. As I pulled the spring support out of the head posts, the clock went flying and slammed into the ground. This in turn made the face plate and the dark tinted glass fall off. Also a few knobs. So uhh, yeah, that was great.

I was able to fit most of the pieces back together, like the knobs and whatnot, and it looked pretty cool without the face plate on it.

A month or so ago, Dad fixed it so the face plate stayed on, but the tinted glass fell off. Last night I accidentally hit the radio button, and then it wouldn't turn off! I just had to turn the volume all the way down. Then this morning when I hit the snooze button, it just sitched over to tell me how many minutes I had between snoozes, so it never went off again. I almost missed class. Whoopsie.

So now I have an alarm clock that has all the same features of my old one: dual alarm, CD player, wake up to a certain song on a CD, wake up to the radio, "Grad-U-Wake." It's pretty cool. AND the CD player works, unlike the old one, AND it has a blue screen instead of green, AND it's half the size and half the price.

Okay. I know that's totally nerdy. But I gotta make it to class on time, right?!

And I bought some chocolate and Doritos. Yum.

Laundry

What in the Fuck?! So I've got laundry going, waiting for the guy with the dryer to get done while my stuff is washing, since my stuff would be done first. I pop in a movie (Eternal Sunset of the Spotless Mind, great movie, btw) and figure by the time the movie's over, his stuff will be dry and I'll be able to get my stuff in the dryer w/o having to go downstairs to do laundry like usual.

So the movie's over and I head down to the laundry room with my last load of clothes to put in the washer and to go transfer my stuff into the dryers. Well, I see that my laundry hamper has been moved to a dryer, when I'd set it on a washer earlier.

I also find that all my fucking clothes from one washer have been taken out and put on top of one of the dryers. WTF?! Then the other washer with my other load was opened, but nothing had been taken out. Both the dryers were empty. And the washer that my clothes had been taken out of was empty as well. Was someone going through my clothes?! And if so, why can't they have the fucking common decency to fucking put them back in the fucking washer?!

ARG! That really fucking pisses me off. I don't go through other people's shit because I know it's rude. I just go downstairs and do my laundry on second floor. The only thing I can even think of that would remotely give anybody any reason to go through my clothes is because when I was pouring my laundry detergent in the bottom of that washer, there was a stray sock in there. But I'd already dumped detergent on it, so I didn't want to take it out of the washer, covered in soap...So I left it in there.

So maybe the guy realized he was missing a sock, knew what washer it was in, and then fucking went through all my clothes to get his sock??? I don't know. But he could have at LEAST put my clothes BACK in the washer so it didn't look like he'd gone through my shit. I'm so pissed off.

I know it's just laundry to some people, but that's just fucking rude, man. No reason to do that. Put things back where you found them. Didn't your mom teach you that when you were THREE?!

FUCK.

***Update!***
Whilst folding my socks, I found the extra (HUGE) boy sock in my laundry. So..um. I really don't know why someone would put all my clothes up on the dryer, then not use the washer they emptied...

So productive!

Today's Pooch Cafe'

Wow. Spent 2 hours in the library today after Biology, and now I have 4 of the 5 articles read and outlined, and I just found the 5th one that I will read here soon. I'm going to finish watching this episode of A Makeover Story, go shower, go get some change for laundry, START said laundry, and then finish up my outline.

Or I might just go shower now and not finish this episode...But I really want to see their haircuts lol. I'm such a nerd.

Today and tomorrow: no work!

Grumpus

Today's Pooch Cafe'

Today's not a good day. Class all morning, work 'til 10pm tonight, with only an hour and a half break in between, by which I will try to check my email, get a blog post in, eat lunch, and attempt to relax.

Amy stayed over way too late again last night. I can't accomplish anything when she's around. She's a sweet girl, I love her to death, but man. She can talk someone's ear off. Plus, we wasted so much time yesterday running all over town, going to Kmart twice to get stuff for her, going to the dorms, then to Arby's, then back here and there. ARG! Tomorrow is homework day, however. I have Bio at 9-10am, then NOTHING, so I'm going to be doing homework that I should have been doing last night. Grr. I need happy pills.
